This magazine contains insightful articles written by experts from professional service firms, extensive editorial content including profiles of local entrepreneurs, and display advertising.
Reporting to the President, this person will be responsible for identifying new sales leads and promoting Banda Marketing’s products and services and maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers to ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues. This person will work collaboratively with the internal team to ensure exceptional customer service and delivery.
Identify new markets, prospective clients and follow through with leads.
Research, prospect, and qualify leads via cold calling, networking and other sales strategies.
Work with potential clients to understand the client’s situation and how the firm’s services relate to the client’s objectives.
Close sales, in some cases working directly with the consultant who would deliver the service.
Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
Develop creative sales strategies that are specific to the customer needs
Assist with proposals and quotes
Evaluate client needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
Meet personal and team KPI’s, utilize sales tools/databases and provide reports to management
Continue learning to keep on top of market trends and best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5-7 years proven experience in business development with a focus on consultative services
Post-secondary education certificate or diploma in business, marketing or similar
Strong understanding of different industries and sectors
Strong understanding of entrepreneurship and family business
Proficient when working with CRM’s and other sales tools.
Must own a car and have a valid driver’s license and willing to travel
Strong communication (oral, written, and presentation), negotiation and interpersonal skills
Problem solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends.
