The ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT will assist the team with a wide range of tasks to support the organization’s short- and long-term goals. This is an impactful role as the outcomes of the Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities will have direct influence over the success of the organization. This person will act as an anchor for the team and provides support to allow the achievement of company objectives.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working on a variety of duties simultaneously, is excited about research, and loves working within databases and online business tools. RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Managing database: data entry, research companies (i.e. addresses, LinkedIn, etc.), pulling reports, and refining.
Administration tasks that can include documentation, preparing packages, etc.
Customer service by interacting with customers and following up on required documentation.
Research statistics and economic trends.
Assisting project manager with assigned tasks such as scheduling meetings, issuing contracts, and coordinating delivery of files.
Posting information on the company’s website and social media platforms.
Data entry, inputting invoices, etc.
Scheduling appropriate logistics and coordinating details such as delivery of product by courier to customers.
Carrying out additional tasks based on changing needs.
Education and Experience:
Post-secondary diploma or certification in administration or similar.
3 plus years experience in an administrative role.
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe or similar. WordPress knowledge is an asset.
High capability with online search engines and business tools, including navigating various websites, platforms, and databases, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software. Previous experience with CRM is an asset.
Experience with market research and/or gathering appropriate information on various subjects.
