DSG Canada was formed in 1983 and offers a variety of products
and services for the diesel industry. The company's success is
a result of its customer-oriented approach, as it has grown from
its original 2,500 sq. ft. shop and is now positioned as an aftermarket
industry leader operating from a 31,000 sq. ft. location.
Project Profile
Through research and development, DSG Canada created a line of
diesel fuel additives that includes BioArmor - an environmentally
friendly additive. An opportunity arose to establish a facility
capable of processing canola or other oils into biodiesel or for
use as a diesel fuel additive. Banda Marketing Group was hired
to determine the economic feasibility of this venture. This project
involved gaining insight into industry trends and undertaking
considerable financial analysis on cost structure and the venture's
potential profit. DSG Canada altered its original business model
as a direct result of the research and analysis conducted by Banda
Marketing.
