With an extensive background in Biotechnology, Chantal has completed her Ph.D. in Experimental Surgery, her Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, and her Undergraduate Degree in Human Physiology. In addition to her academic research in the area of diabetes, Chantal has spent time examining stem cells and employing techniques such as adenoviral vector transfection.

As a Consultant with Banda Marketing Group, Chantal's past experience and expertise lend well to her ability to understand the science behind our clients' various bio-based products, and to help them manage the process of going from basic research to product commercialization.

Chantal recently was recognized by the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF), receiving the Top Postdoctoral Fellowship Award Socio-Health for the 2007-08 year. The SHRF Top Researcher Awards are presented to the top-ranked biomedical and socio-health recipients in each of SHRF's major funding program competitions. In addition to her various awards and publications, Chantal is a respected presenter and has been a guest speaker for the Canadian Biotechnology Resource Center and the Aventis Biotech Challenge MerckFrosst Lecture Series.
