Community Involvement
Banda Marketing Group is proud to be part of
the Saskatoon business community and values the relationships
created over the years with the various associations.
North Saskatchewan Business Association (NSBA)
Since Banda Marketing Group's inception in 1997, the company has
been involved at various levels with the NSBA. In its initial
years, Brent Banda chaired the committee that launched the first
annual NSBA Business Builder Awards Banquet. This event focuses
on celebrating the successes of companies in the Saskatoon Business
community and has just celebrated its ninth year of operation.
Today, Banda Marketing Group employees continue
to volunteer on committees to support the NSBA.
Raj Manek Business Mentorship Program
The Raj Manek Business Mentorship Program provides one-on-one
mentoring by experienced business owners and senior executives
with newly established businesses. For over 8 years, Banda Marketing
Group has been involved with the Raj Manek Business Mentorship
Program on a number of levels - as a protege participating in
the program and as a guest speaker. We have also volunteered our
marketing services to support the program.
MSS Business Case Competition
To help students develop their marketing skills and build relationships
in the business community, Banda Marketing Group has partnered
with the University of Saskatchewan Marketing Students'
Society to organize a Business Case Competition for Commerce students.
The competition provides students with the opportunity to showcase
their business knowledge, while developing a stronger relationship
with members of the Saskatoon business community.
In addition to being one of the major event
sponsors, Banda Marketing Group also volunteered on the judging
panel. Congratulations to Brittany Schlosser and Laural Debusschere
who won the 2006 competition.
Other Business Organizations
Banda Marketing Group is also a participating member of the Saskatoon
& District Chamber of Commerce and supports the Saskatchewan
Young Professional and Entrepreneurs Association.
